The unified digital register of military registration is planned to be fully transferred to the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. This is stated in a document on the federal portal of normative legal acts.
The Ministry of Digital Development emphasized that the changes are technical in nature. They are aimed at implementing the military registration register.
The document formally establishes the process of transferring the military registration register from the Ministry of Digital Development to the Ministry of Defense. This is legally necessary, as we are responsible for the technical part and are developing the register according to the terms of reference of the functional customer - the Ministry of Defense.
Nothing will change for either citizens or military commissariats. The procedure is also necessary to verify information security requirements.
We are preparing documentation, and authorized bodies are checking the register for information security. Both initiatives are not new; these are standard procedures for launching information systems.
