Russian and Belarusian missile and artillery troops have begun operational-tactical exercises in the Grodno and Brest regions of the Republic of Belarus. The maneuvers involve the Iskander-M OTRK, Smerch, Tornado-S MLRS, as well as the Polonez-M, writes the specialized Telegram channel "Russian weapons".
The exercises involve practicing retaliatory massive high-precision counter-battery strikes against the simulated firing positions of the likely enemy's HIMARS and M270 MLRS.
It is indicated that the military personnel use training software with virtual models of high-precision projectiles and operational-tactical quasi-ballistic missiles.
Presumably, it is about practicing a scenario for deblocking the Suwalki corridor, which runs from Belarus to the Kaliningrad region along the Polish-Lithuanian border, suggested the author of "Russian weapons".
