The 5.45mm caliber AK-12 Kalashnikov assault rifle, 2023 version, has been adopted by the Federal National Guard Troops Service of the Russian Federation (Rosgvardia). The decree was signed by the Russian government, the press service of the "Kalashnikov" arms concern reported.
A year earlier, the AK-12 assault rifle was adopted by the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation. This model is the pinnacle of the AK system's development and differs from previous generations of the assault rifle.
The updated AK-12 has received a number of updates that have improved its performance characteristics. At the same time, the assault rifle has retained its reliability and resistance to external influences.
The press service of the concern noted that contracts for the manufacture of AK-12 are growing annually, and the company sends assault rifles to the troops on time.
The adoption of the AK-12 assault rifle by the Rosgvardia testifies to the high confidence in our weapons.
