In late August 2024, Yandex updated the basic "Yandex Plus" subscription, adding new options: access to the "Bookmate" service (offering over 250,000 e-books, audiobooks, and comics) and "More Movies" (including over 400 films and series, as well as 27 non-broadcast TV channels). These options were previously available for an additional fee of 100 rubles per month each, but are now included in the basic subscription.
Until October 1, 2024, the subscription can be purchased at the old price - 299 rubles per month. After this date, the subscription cost will increase to 399 rubles per month. For users who already had a subscription, but without the "Bookmate" and "More Movies" options, there is a promotional period: they will pay the old price until October 1. Those who already had both options connected will pay less - 399 rubles instead of 499 rubles per month.
In addition, "Yandex Plus" provides the ability to connect up to three loved ones to one subscription, with each user having their own account with personalized recommendations and "Plus" points. A subscription purchased for a year under the promotion will cost 249 rubles per month.
Andrey Gevak, head of "Yandex Plus," noted that the subscription update significantly expands its capabilities, providing access to a variety of Yandex content - from books and movies to sports broadcasts and children's entertainment content.
