The Russian Utes missile system is an old development of the Soviet military-industrial complex and is equipped with a powerful warhead weighing 350 kg. This was stated by military expert Viktor Litovkin.
According to him, the Utes in Crimea was in a neglected state, but after 2014 it began to be revived. The warhead of this complex is 300–350 kg.
The missile used to be able to fly a distance of 460 km at a high trajectory and 300 km at a low trajectory, but now the range is up to 600 km. The complex effectively covers the entire Black Sea.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Russian Armed Forces used the rarest Utes coastal missile system. Its Utes missile accelerates to a speed of 1250 km/, the mass of the missile at launch is 5300 kg.
