VK (formerly Mail.ru Group) has updated the Mail.ru platform, the company's press service reported.
The design updates affected the "Mail", "Cloud", "Notes", "Calendar" and "Shopping" services. Green and blue have been added to the color palette. The .ru domain zone has disappeared from the logo.
Technological changes in products and visual style have become a response to a new stage of development and the demands of a young audience.
A virtual assistant, Byte the dog, has been added to improve the service.
Byte will tell you where to find a brief summary of the letter, suggest how to come up with an idea or shorten the text using a neural network, and also share life hacks on how to become more productive with Mail services.
According to Andrey Sumin, director of the Mail business unit, Mail.ru has long ceased to be just mail. The platform has turned into an entire ecosystem with different services. This led to the need for visual updates.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the "Mail.ru Cloud" appeared a function for identifying a user by face based on AI.
