Will pluck out the bird's eyes. Russian Armed Forces find a way to "blind" enemy drones

Analyst Damantsev: the "Kust-1" complex successfully drops copters on the front line

Russian military personnel on the front line have begun to use a self-propelled portable electronic warfare complex to counter video image transmission modules from TV/IR sensors of FPV drones to UAV control points of the enemy, as well as drone control channels of the "Kust-1" type. This was pointed out by military analyst Evgeny Damantsev.

According to him, the multi-band radio frequency direction finder integrated into the electronic architecture of the "Kust-1" complex determines the frequencies of video image transmission channels and commands of enemy FPV drones.

After that, the directional antenna module with a narrow high-energy radiation pattern emits a spurious video stream with a power of several hundred watts, leading to disorientation of the drone's guidance system.

Damantsev added that a similar method of counteraction can neutralize drones with autonomous optoelectronic sensors for detecting and selecting targets based on artificial intelligence.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the low-observable drone "KUB" from "Kalashnikov" increased combat power. Now the warhead of the UAV exceeds 3 kg.
