Каршеринг в Москве стал мировым лидером: парк доступных авто вырос в 106 раз за девять лет

33 Million Trips Made Since the Beginning of the Year

In 9 years of operation, the carsharing system in Moscow has achieved global leadership in terms of development speed. Since 2015, the number of cars in the carsharing fleet has increased 106 times, from 350 to 37 thousand units. Currently, Moscow's carsharing fleet is the largest in the world and includes electric vehicles, business-class cars, and domestically produced vehicles.

The Moscow government actively supports the development of carsharing. Since 2018, companies have been provided with subsidies to update their car fleets. Over 6 years, 1.2 billion rubles have been allocated to services, which were used to purchase 54 thousand new cars. In addition, carsharing operators receive a 50% discount on the renewal of parking permits, allowing users to rent modern car models without additional parking costs.

Cooperation between business and the city benefits the residents of the capital. The use of short-term rental cars helps to reduce traffic congestion, improve the environmental situation in the city, and slow down the growth in the number of personal cars.

Over 9 years of operation, carsharing users have made 305 million trips. Currently, 1.5 million active users are registered in the system, with 138 thousand trips made daily, and one car is used for 5-6 trips per day. Since the beginning of the year, 33 million trips have been made. 37 thousand cars are available for rent, meeting the Euro-5 environmental class and higher.
