Production of LADA Vesta cars with ESP officially started at AvtoVAZ on August 21. But so far, only a few cars have been assembled in Togliatti. Production is planned to increase next week. This was learned by insiders.
So far, only a few units with this system and additional options are coming off the assembly line. Today, before the lunch break, only one car with ESC passed along the floor conveyor.
Let us remind you that the stabilization system in the car was developed by the company "Itelma". It calls this system ESC, but there are no differences from ESP. In addition to the stabilization system, the cars received LED headlights, heated washer nozzles, blind spot monitoring, light and rain sensors, as well as side airbags.
How much the cars will cost is unknown. The start of sales of the updated Vesta is scheduled for autumn.
