The RosALit foundry has established serial production of components for products, including technological operations for casting and machining components. Currently, Sollers Argo is supplied with local aluminum housings, and these gearboxes are also planned to appear on other Sollers and UAZ models.
The project for the production of gearboxes and some of their components is being implemented with the participation of the Industrial Development Fund. The total budget of the project exceeds 710 million rubles, of which 564 million rubles were provided by the IDF in the form of a concessional loan under the "Auto Components" program.
A significant part of the IDF funds went to the purchase of new casting and technological equipment, cutting and measuring tools, modernization and commissioning of casting equipment, as well as the launch and debugging of the technological process.
The total production volume of domestic aluminum housings will be up to 8 thousand units of housings in 2024, with a subsequent annual increase in production volumes.
