The modernized BMP-1AM "Basurmanin" infantry fighting vehicle was presented at the Army-2024 forum. The vehicle received a set of additional protection 675-sb3KDZ, an anti-drone "barbecue" with a mesh screen, as well as a Triton-type electronic warfare system.
The "Basurmanin" received a BTR-82A combat module with a 30-mm 2A72 automatic cannon, a 7.62-mm PKTM machine gun, a two-plane weapon stabilizer, a fire control system with a combined all-day TKN-4GA anti-aircraft sight, as well as a Metis anti-tank complex in a remote version.
BMP-1AM "Basurmanin" infantry fighting vehicles replace the BMP-1s that were in service with the Russian Armed Forces. In the army, they were called "kopeykas".
Earlier, the first shots of the Nadyusha multi-purpose tactical missile surfaced on the Web. Its range is up to 300 km.
