Russia has developed the latest guided artillery projectile for the "Coalition-SV" self-propelled howitzer. It is currently undergoing field tests.
The projectile developer is the "High-Precision Systems" holding (part of Rostec). The "Krasnopol" projectile developed by the Instrument Design Bureau of the holding is already actively used on the front lines.
The accuracy of the ammunition is ensured by correction via a laser beam reflected from the target. Aerodynamic rudders are responsible for correcting the trajectory when approaching the target. The deviation from the line of sight is minimal regardless of the range and other factors.
The projectile is universal and can work with any 152-millimeter artillery installations: D-20, "Acacia", "Msta-B", "Msta-S", the latest "Malva".
The "Coalition" howitzer is equipped with a modern 2A88 152 mm caliber gun, hitting targets at a distance of up to 70-80 km with a rate of fire of 10 to 20 rounds per minute. The processes of preparing a shot are fully automated in the gun, including the selection of the projectile type, the installation of the fuse and the aiming of the gun.
Earlier, the first shots of the multi-purpose tactical missile "Nadyusha" surfaced on the Web. Its range is up to 300 km.
