Localization of car production at the "Avtotor" plant in Kaliningrad will increase. This was learned by insiders.
It turns out that in mid-August, representatives of the plant met with domestic suppliers of auto components. Among them are "Ecopolymer-Trade" (production sites in the Samara and Nizhny Novgorod regions), which produces paints and varnishes, "Knauf Penoplast" from St. Petersburg - engaged in stuffing seats and interiors, and "Link Plant" from the Nizhny Novgorod region - specializes in wiring.
If negotiations with suppliers are successful, the cars produced at "Avtotor" will become more localized.
Recall that Chinese JMC, Jetour, Kaiyi, BAIC, SWM, Foton, Dongfeng Sokon, and electric "Amberavto" come off the assembly line of the enterprise.
