Analysts analyzed the state of the new car market in Russia. It turned out that in the first seven months of this year, demand for cars increased by 33.2%, and supply – by 63.6%.
The most popular brands from January to July 2024 were LADA, Chery, Haval, Geely and Changan. At the same time, Changan showed the highest growth in demand, more than 2.5 times, and in terms of supply dynamics, the most popular cars were the Geely brand.
The top 3 most popular cars in terms of demand are LADA models. In the first place is Granta, which has 10.27%, in the second place is the classic Niva — 6.46%, and in third place is Vesta — 5.39%. The fourth and fifth lines of the rating are occupied by Haval Jolion and Omoda C5. The leader in demand dynamics is Geely Monjaro, compared to last year, demand for it has increased by 3.5 times.
Note that the average cost of a new car has not changed and amounted to 2 million 949 thousand rubles.
