A rating of the most popular cars in the secondary market in Russia has been compiled. Experts analyzed the data for the first half of 2024 and it turned out that Russians most often buy VAZ-2107 "Zhiguli" (production ceased in 2012) and VAZ-2114 "Samara-2" (production ended in 2013).
Thus, from January to June, 62.7 thousand VAZ "sevens" were bought. The car sales service "Auto.ru" calls a fair price for a car from 90 thousand rubles to 170 thousand rubles. The most expensive "seven" is offered for one million rubles. The car from 2011 has a mileage of only 53,600 kilometers.
In second place in the ranking of popular used cars is the VAZ-2114. "Fourteenths" were bought 59.1 thousand times. On average, they ask for 400 thousand rubles for a car. The most expensive "Samara-2" from 2012 was put up for sale in Moscow. They are asking 700 thousand rubles for the car, apparently because of the beautiful numbers. The car's mileage is unknown.
The top three popular cars in the secondary market are closed by Kia Rio — 55.8 thousand cars. In fourth place is Hyundai Solaris, with an indicator of 54.3 thousand pieces. Fifth place belongs to Ford Focus. Its result in the secondary market is 51.1 thousand cars.
In addition, among the popular models there are three more VAZs: "2170" ("Priora") — 48.6 thousand pieces, 2110 — 38.4 thousand pieces and "Niva" – 47.3 thousand pieces. It was not without representatives of the Japanese auto industry, there are two Toyotas in the ranking: Сamry — 38.6 thousand pieces and Corolla — 45.2 thousand.
