Радиация не страшна: Ростех представил устойчивый к радиации комплекс для атомных станций на форуме «Армия-2024»

The device will help prevent emergency situations at nuclear power plants

"Roselectronics" (part of Rostec Group) has developed a new digital complex resistant to radiation. It was presented at the "Army-2024" forum.

The new product allows monitoring technological processes in the area of nuclear reactors at nuclear power plants. The device will help prevent emergency situations by controlling the operation of a key element of the NPP.

The telecomplex is equipped with a radiation-resistant camera. It is capable of operating in air and water environments with gamma radiation up to 2 Mrad/hour or accumulated – up to 200 Mrad.

The development allows obtaining color and black-and-white images with a resolution of at least 1000 television lines thanks to a new lens of domestic design, which operates in high temperature conditions — up to 120°.

The new optics are more efficient than analogues. It allows extending the service life of the telecomplex by 1.5 times due to increased radiation resistance.

Earlier www1.ru reported that "Roselectronics" presented an updated radar "Cheremukha" at the "Army -2024" forum.
