Concern VKO Almaz-Antey and shipbuilding corporation AK Bars have announced the start of joint design of ship systems of various types and purposes.
The cooperation agreement was signed at the International Military-Technical Forum Army-2024. The document was signed by Alexander Vedrov, Deputy General Director for Production and Technological Policy of Almaz-Antey, and Renat Mistakhov, General Director of the shipbuilding corporation, with the participation of Oleg Korobchenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Industry and Trade.
According to the agreement, the cooperation covers the areas of shipbuilding, ship repair, design, mechanical engineering and industrial production, as well as joint research and development work (R&D). The main goal is the joint design of ship systems of various types, as well as the development and implementation of new mechanisms and programs of joint actions.
The International Military-Technical Forum Army-2024 is held from August 12 to 14, 2024 at the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center. Within the framework of the event, participants are presented with samples of weapons, military and special equipment.
