Almaz-Antey Air and Space Defence Corporation will present the 9S38E target detection station on a tracked chassis as part of the Viking anti-aircraft missile system at the Army-2024 military-technical forum, the corporation's press service reported.
The Viking SAM system will be presented with a 9A316ME launcher, a model of the 9M317ME anti-aircraft guided missile, and a 9S38E target detection station on a tracked chassis, as well as simulators for a self-propelled firing unit based on the Ural vehicle and a containerized combat control center.
The corporation noted that the SAM system handles the task of destroying advanced and modern strategic and tactical aviation aircraft, tactical cruise and ballistic missiles, reconnaissance and strike systems, UAVs, helicopters, and radio-contrast targets.
