Russian Railways (RZD) is planning to create its own shipping companies, the company's press service reported.
The implementation of such a plan will allow for the redistribution of road and rail freight transport.

According to Konstantin Anisimov, many foreign railway companies have their own shipping "subsidiaries." Their interaction optimizes freight transport.
