Auto bloggers restored a VAZ-2109 from 2000, which for the last 20 years has been standing still. The car was registered in November 2000, then it was driven around the city in spring and autumn, and since 2004 the car has been stored. During four years of operation, the car's mileage was only six thousand kilometers.
The "Nine" was stored in good conditions. The fact is that in 20 years there is no corrosion on the car. Moreover, even on elements that were not coated with anti-corrosion. The car's body was not perfect: a deep scratch on the rear right fender, a dented front right fender, and a scuffed bumper slightly spoiled the impression.
Of course, after such a long storage, it was not possible to start the engine immediately. Bloggers had to change the fuel pump, add antifreeze and gasoline. Of course, they installed a new battery.
The car was restored: the dented elements were replaced and painted, the interior was dry-cleaned. The engine was washed. All efforts to sell the car to a private collection at a higher price. The bloggers did not name the price at which the "capsule" "Nine" was sold.
