Employees of the environmental supervision of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will receive drones to improve control over compliance with environmental legislation under the national project "Unmanned Aerial Systems." The first three unmanned aerial vehicles are planned to be purchased and put into operation in 2024.
These drones will be used to monitor violations in the field of environmental and geological supervision, such as illegal mining, unauthorized landfills, obstruction of access to water bodies, and other environmental violations. This special equipment will allow for the prompt recording of violations.
A special geographic information system will be developed for the effective use of drones. It will provide information from remote areas of the region. After processing the information, inspectors will be able to travel to the site with a laboratory to confirm and eliminate violations.
With the help of unmanned aerial systems, we will be able to reduce operational and financial costs, while covering the supervision of the activities of a much larger number of environmental users.
Over three years, unmanned systems will be delivered to cities such as Krasnoyarsk, Achinsk, Minusinsk, Kansk, Norilsk, Lesosibirsk, and Boguchany.
