Following other automotive enterprises, the Moskvich plant has gone on corporate leave. It will last from July 22 to August 4. Insiders do not rule out that the time will be used to set up the production of the largest crossover in the plant's lineup, the Moskvich 8.
The Moskvich 8 is a Chinese JAC X8 Plus. The car is equipped with a 174-horsepower turbocharged engine and a seven-speed robot. It is not yet known how much this crossover will cost. Prices are likely to start from 2.7 million rubles. That's what experts think.
As a reminder, the Moskvich plant intends to produce 27 thousand cars this year. In the first half of the year, 10 thousand cars were sold.
