The crews of the "Raptor" boat and the Mi-8 naval aviation helicopter intercepted the enemy's Magura-V5 unmanned boat in the Black Sea. Standard weapons were used against the unmanned sea drone. The damaged boat exploded, and a pillar of black smoke rose into the sky.
The "Raptor" crew used the remotely controlled gyro-stabilized "Uprava-Kord" combat module against the Magura V5. Military expert Evgeny Damantsev explained that this module includes a 14.5 mm KPVT machine gun synchronized with a thermal imaging sight and a target acquisition algorithm for automatic tracking. The thermal imaging complex was developed by specialists from NPO "Karat".
The speed of the "Raptor" reaches 48 knots. Thanks to this, Russian soldiers can pursue most types of enemy unmanned boats.
The Magura-V5 was also fired upon from the Mi-8 with a PKM machine gun or a rapid-firing four-barrel GShG-7.62 with an electric drive for rotating the barrel module on a pedestal mount.
