The crew of a Russian Ka-27PS multi-purpose helicopter of the naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation destroyed a low-visibility unmanned strike kamikaze boat Magura-V5 (Maritime Autonomous Guard Unmanned Robotic Apparatus V-type) from a 7.62-mm Kalashnikov modernized machine gun (PKM).
The PKM is located on a pedestal mount in the helicopter's troop compartment. The footage published online shows Russian soldiers firing aimed fire at an unmanned boat. Hit by a machine-gun burst, the Magura-V5 exploded, and a black cloud rose into the air.
Technical characteristics of the Ka-27PS helicopter:
- maximum take-off weight - 11 thousand kg
- flight range - 750 km
- engine type - TV3-117VMA (two engines), or TV3-117KM, or VK 2500
- power of each engine - 2200 hp
- armament: torpedo, bomb, missile
- crew in the strike version of the helicopter - 2 people
