Russian military personnel are using drones to deliver fuel and other valuable resources by air to the front lines. A drone can carry up to 50 kg.
The POL service drone takes off with empty tanks and heads towards the filling station. There, the courier intercepts the UAV and fills the tanks with fuel. Sometimes fuel is brought in by a vehicle protected by a «grill», or by a motorcycle.
Before departure, we are provided with a drone detector. If the device sees that an enemy drone is nearby, it makes a sound.
Fuel quality control is carried out in a mobile laboratory. It is equipped with devices that determine impurities in POL. The examination allows us to ensure the quality of the fuel, so the equipment will not fail in an emergency.
