AtomEnergo (part of Rosatom's electric power division) and the government of the Moscow Region have signed an agreement on the development of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. 40 stations with a capacity of 150 kW will be installed in the region.
The new stations, designed in a unified style, will support the unified architectural appearance of the region's cities and create additional comfort for electric vehicle owners.
According to the government of the Moscow Region, there are 493 EVCS operating in the region, of which 202 are fast (150 kW) and 291 are slow (up to 22 kW). The stations are installed at the expense of companies.
In 2024, investors plan to install at least 125 EVCS with a capacity of 150 kW, in 2025 - to increase the network of electric charging stations by another 150 EVCS, and by the end of 2025 the total number of EVCS will approach 829.
