JSC "Izhevsk Mechanical Plant" (IMZ, part of the "Kalashnikov" concern) increased revenue by 40% in the first six months of 2024 compared to the same period last year.
The press service of the country's main arms concern stated that the special equipment production division made the largest contribution to revenue growth. For the period from January to June 2024, sales of special-purpose products increased by more than 60% compared to the first half of 2023.
In addition, sales of civilian small arms in Russia increased by 10%, and combat weapons by 25%.
Among the market leaders is the MR-512 pneumatic rifle, its sales increased by 38% compared to 6 months of 2023. The most popular pneumatic pistol remains the MR-654, the increase in production and sales of this model amounted to 27%. The MR-27 shotgun remains in the top among hunting shotguns, its production increased by 54%.
The IMZ staff is working to ensure the timely fulfillment of the state defense order.
