AvtoVAZ has encountered problems with the production of LADA Vesta cars. The reason given was a shortage of hub nuts. Incomplete cars were accumulating on the territory of the plant in Togliatti awaiting parts, and on July 17 it became known that the LADA Vesta production line had stopped altogether! This is reported by insiders.
The Vesta car assembly line worked only 4 hours until the lunch break at 11.00. In the afternoon, the assembly line did not move from its place.
The staff waited until 16:15, and then the workers were released home. Insiders claim that the problems arose due to the DAAZ plant. It disrupted the delivery of spare parts.
As a reminder, DAAZ is located in Dimitrovgrad, Ulyanovsk region. The parent company is PJSC "KAMAZ". The plant is part of the "United Automotive Technologies" group.
