A new mobile application has been created for users of the "Velobike" bicycle rental service. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport.
The application can be downloaded from RuStore. It is designed for smartphone owners with the Android operating system. For phones on the iOS platform, the web version of the "Velobike" application is available.
We are constantly improving the technical base of Velobike and making the service more convenient and accessible for users. With the new application, renting a bicycle will become even easier and more comfortable. We are developing and supporting bicycle rentals in the capital on behalf of the Mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin.
To rent a bicycle, it is recommended to delete the previously downloaded "Velobike" mobile application and install the new one.
It is worth noting that bicycle rentals operate in all districts of the capital, as well as outside the Moscow Ring Road — in Balashikha, Skolkovo, and Zelenograd. In 2024, more than 11 thousand bicycles have been prepared for rent. Most models are electric.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that renting a scooter is now possible from the Tinkoff application.
