The Russian Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system (SAM) is capable of effectively shooting down American F-16 fighters. The system is constantly being modernized and works against all aerial devices, said Pantsir-S1 operator Maxim.

The system crews control the airspace above the positions of Russian troops around the clock. To destroy aerial targets, the system crew has 12 anti-aircraft missiles at its disposal. In addition, the device is equipped with two 30 mm twin-barreled guns with a magazine of 1,400 rounds.
