Российские военные приспособили РПГ-7 для стрельбы минами 82 мм

They are also using the grenade launcher for remote mine laying.

Russian military personnel on the front lines have managed to modify the RPG-7 hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher to fire 82mm mortar rounds. The adapted devices have been in use in Russian army units for quite some time and have proven themselves well.

Effective fragmentation grenades are already being produced for the "sevens," but assault troops were happy to expand the range of weapons they have to engage enemy personnel.

In addition, combat engineers are using the RPG to remotely lay POM-2 mines. Previously, they were deployed only with the use of UMZ mine layers, as well as rockets from multiple launch rocket systems and aviation systems.

The RPG-7 is designed to engage a wide range of targets, thanks to its ammunition of HEAT, thermobaric, and fragmentation rounds. The exact characteristics of its operation with 82mm mortar rounds are currently unknown.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russian electronic warfare diverted a Western GMLRS projectile and saved a Malva self-propelled gun from being hit. As a result, the domestic equipment suffered minor damage.
