Ozon has become the first marketplace in Russia to launch online sales of airplanes. All airplanes available for purchase are light aircraft and have state registration. Currently, there are six light aircraft models of basic configuration from the Borey Aircraft and "Pervoye OKB" factories, priced from 10 million rubles.
Becoming an aircraft owner is simple. Just select an airplane from the available options on Ozon, pay for the purchase with a bank card linked to your personal account, and choose a convenient time and place for delivery. After the sale agreement is concluded, the airplane seller submits documents for the transfer of ownership to Rosaviatsiya. Then, the aircraft is delivered to the specified location within the timeframe agreed upon with the buyer. Delivery is possible both within Russia and to CIS countries.
To make a purchase, the client needs to arrange a basing location for the airplane in advance, i.e., a mini-airfield. And to fly the purchased airplane, a pilot's license will be required.
The marketplace administration notes that potential buyers of airplanes can be private individuals, as well as air clubs, aviation training centers, companies engaged in air tourism, agricultural enterprises, and other interested parties. They are not planning to stop at small aircraft models: buyers are promised that in the future, it will be possible to add aircraft for tourism and extreme sports to the cart and buy them on Ozon.
