Russian military personnel on the front lines are successfully using high-precision missiles from the "Whirlwind" anti-tank complex launched from the Ka-52 "Alligator" helicopter. Even dynamic protection of armored vehicles cannot withstand the powerful impact.
The "Whirlwind-1" missiles are used for strikes, designed to engage ground-based maneuverable armored objects equipped with dynamic protection blocks (DBP), as well as medium-speed aerial targets, including helicopters, attack aircraft, and UAVs.
The complex effectively engages ground targets, surface targets, and aerial targets during the day, at night, and in limited adverse weather conditions.
The supersonic speed of the missile helps reduce the vulnerability of the carrier during the attack and allows multiple targets to be engaged in a single pass. The automatic target tracking system and the high-precision laser-beam control system of the I-251 "Squall" missile ensure a high probability of hitting a small target accurately.
The tandem shaped-charge fragmentation warhead ensures through penetration of homogeneous armor (behind dynamic protection) with a thickness of 750 mm.

The control system is fully resistant to interference in conditions of optical and radio interference on the modern battlefield. The tank has no chance against the "Whirlwind". Dynamic armor will not help. Such protection works in the case of using portable anti-tank systems, but here it simply does not have time to work – the missile is very fast. At the same time, it can be launched beyond the range of air defense and missile defense systems.
