The 203 mm self-propelled gun 2S7M "Malka", which is produced at the Uraltransmash plant (part of the Uralvagonzavod concern), is capable of destroying a building with the first hit. It is one of the most powerful self-propelled guns of this type in the world, designed to destroy important targets and enemy objects in the tactical depth of defense behind the front line. This was reported by the press service of the state corporation (SC) Rostec.
We destroy various targets: both command posts and enemy guns. If we work on a building in which the enemy is hiding, you can't hide from such a projectile. If in open terrain, the radius of shrapnel scatter reaches about 500 meters.
As noted in the press service of SC Rostec, modernized guns are used in combat operations. In self-propelled guns, the gearbox, distribution mechanisms and power supply units were replaced, and the observation devices, communication equipment and radio station were updated.
