The LADA Niva Sport T2 racing car from the LADA Sport Rosneft team will take part in the Silk Way Rally-Raid, which will be held on the tracks of Russia and Mongolia from July 5 to 15. Two crews in racing Nivas will participate in the competition. This is reported by AvtoVAZ.
Dmitry Voronov will drive a car with an engine with a capacity of 150 horsepower. Mikhail Matveev will be behind the wheel of a Niva with 180 horsepower. Before the races, the SUVs had their suspension reinforced, and air conditioners were installed in the cars.
Note that in addition to the racing version of the Niva, there is also a Niva sports version. It was named LADA Niva Sport.
