Несокрушимый: модернизированный российский «летающий» танк Т-80БВМ выдержал удар трех FPV-дронов благодаря защите «Реликт»

Russian tankers still completed the combat mission

The modernized Russian T-80BVM tank with an additional set of 4S24 "Relikt" dynamic protection on standard anti-cumulative screens withstood the impact of three FPV drones at once on the front line. The kamikaze drones were equipped with monoblock cumulative warheads of PG-7VS/VL anti-tank rocket-propelled grenades.

One of the impacts of the defocused cumulative jet, which hit the front hemisphere of the vehicle, burned the triplex of the driver-mechanic of the vehicle, after which the tank was controlled by the correction of the T-80BVM commander.

One of the impacts was parried by the 4S24 ERA. Despite the damage to the equipment, the Russian Armed Forces successfully completed the task of suppressing the enemy's strong point with a ZOF26 projectile from a closed firing position.

The T-80BVM is the latest modification of the main battle tank T-80, which has been produced since 1976. Its deliveries to the Russian Armed Forces began in 2019. All vehicles of the "family" received a gas turbine engine, which allows it to accelerate to 70 km/h. The T-80BVM has an improved 125-millimeter gun, and the gas turbine engine has been improved - its power has increased to 1,250 hp.

Earlier, the Russian military praised the qualities of the T-80 tank in combat conditions. The crews loved it for its speed and maneuverability on the battlefield.
