A new high-speed highway to the Crimean Bridge will be launched by the end of 2024. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin at the Russia International Exhibition and Forum.
The road will reduce the journey from Moscow to Crimea by 1-2 hours. The speed limit on the highway will increase to 120 km/h, and its length will be 118.6 km.
In accordance with the state contract, the implementation period for the A-289 Krasnodar — Slavyansk-on-Kuban — Temryuk — A-290 Novorossiysk — Kerch highway is scheduled for the end of 2024. To date, the technical readiness of the facility is 59%.
It is planned to build 43 bridges, 15 overpasses, 10 multi-level interchanges and 11 recreation areas on the highway. The project is financed within the framework of the federal targeted investment program, its budget is 118.42 billion rubles.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Ministry of Transport is working on the construction of a new high-speed highway to the new regions.
