In May, the production plan was overfulfilled

The AMO plant (formerly owned by Volvo) has started assembling 12 trucks per shift. Thus, the company has reached its planned production volume. This was announced by the Governor of the Kaluga Region, Vladislav Shapsha.

The authorities emphasize that the plant has started assembling frames and some other components, while previously the enterprise had assembly of vehicle kits. In addition, AMO managed to exceed the production plan in May. Instead of 177 trucks, 181 vehicles rolled off the assembly line.

It should be reminded that the company was acquired at the end of 2023 by "Industrial Investments". Now, instead of Volvo equipment, "Ural" Next are assembled at the plant. In April, truck production was increased.
