The Malakhit Design Bureau showcased models of unique submarines at the Naval Salon "Fleet-2024" in Kronstadt. The projects they are developing reflect promising directions in the development of marine technology, the USC press service reported.
Visitors to the exposition were attracted by the model of the small coastal submarine P-750B "Serval". Its features include covert transportation, landing of sabotage groups, including with the use of the super-small submarine "Triton-2".
Specialists at the Malakhit Design Bureau equipped the "Serval" with an air-independent power plant, which significantly increases the range of continuous underwater navigation.
The design bureau, which is part of USC, also creates complex marine equipment for civilian purposes. Among its developments is the underwater vehicle "Yason", which is designed to perform work on marine main pipelines.
