The secondary market for automotive spare parts in Russia amounted to $27.2 billion, according to 2023. Experts have named the most popular groups of spare parts and components among Russian car owners.
Most often, Russian car enthusiasts spend money on tires. 14% of purchases in the spare parts market are in this product group. Next come various parts in the suspension. Their purchases account for 8.8% of the market share of components for cars. Transmission and engine oils were in third place — 7.8%.
Also, Russians are actively purchasing brake system parts – 5.6% and electrical equipment components – 3.9%. In auto parts stores, elements of transmission and steering are popular for purchase, body parts, and batteries.
