Russian soldiers of the "Vostok" group destroyed a Senator MRAP armored combat vehicle manufactured by the Canadian company Roshel. This was reported in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The Canadian armored vehicle is built on the Ford F-550 chassis. The Senator MRAP, produced since 2018, is called the "doomsday machine."
Thanks to the V-shaped hull, the Roshel Senator MRAP provides increased survivability and an unsurpassed level of crew protection.
Features of the Senator MRAP armored vehicle:
- all-welded armored capsule
- armored bottom
- autonomous ventilation and fire extinguishing system
- 360-degree cameras
- night vision function
- 6.7 liter turbo diesel engine with 330 hp
Russian engineers are carefully inspecting captured equipment of Western production. Specialists can borrow some structural elements, improving domestic weapons.
