Specialists of NPP "Radar mms" have created a small-sized radar station (radar) "Iney" for detecting ultra-small drones. The station is designed to detect, among other things, ultra-small drones, such as Mavic and other drones of similar size.
General Designer of NPP "Radar mms" Georgy Antsev noted that the radar is capable of detecting ultra-small drones at a distance of up to five kilometers, and "Iney" sees larger drones "much further." The station received a database that allows it to distinguish between drones of various types and birds.
Several radars can be installed on critical infrastructure facilities to create a continuous radar field. Also, a small-sized station can be installed on various weapons systems as an airborne radar.
Earlier www1.ru reported that in Russia they created advanced protection of objects from FPV drone attacks "Serp-VS6". The system allows you to detect not only the UAV itself, but also its operator, and also provides effective counteraction to the currently actively used FPV drones.
