The online marketplace Wildberries has opened a pickup point (Pvz) in the Kuril Islands - it is located in Yuzhno-Kurilsk on Kunashir Island. This was reported by the company's press service.
Goods arrive at the Wildberries sorting center in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, then are sent to the port of Korsakov, and then by sea to Yuzhno-Kurilsk.
The pickup point has been operating for a month now - during this time, thousands of Wildberries customers have received their orders from the "mainland".
Alexander Lazarev, Head of Franchise Pvz at Wildberries, stated that the opening of pickup points in remote corners of Russia is in high demand. In such places, the range of goods may be limited.
Now residents of Yuzhno-Kurilsk have access to 75 million goods from the marketplace from sellers from Russia, China and other countries where Wildberries is present.
Deliveries are once a week.
Earlierwww1.ru reported that Wildberrieslaunched express delivery.
