The online recruiting platform HeadHunter (HH) has developed its own social network for business communication, experience sharing, and job searching. The platform is called "Setka," and registration has been available to all users since June 20 of this year. This was reported by the company's press service.
Previously, access to the social network was by invitation only. Beta testing of the platformhas been underway since 2023.
We are now seeing a growing trend in the development of social capital and the need to create communities in which talents can build professional connections and openly share stories of their successes and failures.
The goal of the project is to create communities - "networks" of professionals for sharing experience and searching for new jobs. They will be formed based on place of work, professions, and industries.
The "Setka" mobile application is already available for download in Rustore, App Store, and Google Play. The program works in integration with artificial intelligence based on the hh.ru ecosystem.
The exact number of participants in the new social network was not disclosed, but during the beta testing period, more than 100 leaders from the digital, IT, and creative industries joined it. The developers expect that by the end of 2024, the social network will have at least 500,000 users.
We also strive for high user activity, so that they return to the application several times a week and spend enough time in it to get the maximum benefit from the content and product.
The company plans to ensure a customer retention rate of at least 60% month-to-month for the social network. The developers will continue to scale the project.
The new platform may become an alternative to LinkedIn. It was blocked in Russia in 2016 by decision of Roskomnadzor.
