Will Leave the Enemy Defenseless: Russian FPV Drone "Veles" to be Equipped with Homing System to REB Source

The new drone version is planned to be launched into mass production by the end of the year

The Russian FPV drone "Veles" will receive a homing system to radio-electronic warfare equipment. With it, the drone will be able to independently detect radiation sources and hit them, thereby clearing the way for other drones.

The "Veles" drone is a modular platform based on a U-shaped frame. The payload is 2.5 kg, with which it can travel up to 10 km, and with a smaller load - up to 15 km.

I hope that by the end of this year it will be possible to complete the entire range of works on creating and launching into mass production a modification of the "Veles" with a homing system to the REB source. Such a drone will increase the capabilities of our radio intelligence and will become an effective means of combating enemy radio-electronic suppression equipment.
Viktor Yatsenko, General Director of "AeroHit" company

To date, "Veles" operators have already recorded more than 400 successful combat uses, Yatsenko noted. According to him, UAVs are used as a kamikaze drone, a scout or to adjust artillery fire.

Earlier www1.ru reported that in Russia they invented a complex with control over the detonation time of shells. The ammunition used by it has high accuracy in hitting targets.
