Ton Dating, a dating service, has become available to Telegram users. The application was launched in the messenger on June 18 this year, according to the application's Telegram channel.
The service operates as a mini-application. Upon registration, the user must undergo multi-level identity verification. According to the developers' rules, only real people with confirmed data can look for new acquaintances on Ton Dating—no bots or fake profiles.
The application's algorithm works similarly to security systems—the application does not allow suspicious user profiles. During the two-month testing phase, only 3% of profiles passed moderation in the service.
TON Dating is aimed at those who value their time and are selective in communication, are ready to be themselves, and prefer to spend time "without masks" in the company of like-minded people. Exclusive access forms a closed community, significantly increasing the quality and quantity of acquaintances with interesting people.
When entering the bot, the user sees a welcome message, then the service attempts to connect to the Ton crypto wallet (if available) or redirects the user to the website to create a profile.
Without carefully filling out all the fields, it will not be possible to get to the dating site. A new user must confirm that they are real by providing all the data, including a link to their Instagram account (the social network belongs to Meta, which is banned in Russia).
Next, the service asks you to post three photos (at least one image must be full-length) and wait for approval from the moderators. The Ton Dating bot did not work in the web version of Telegram at the time of publication.
Women do not have to pay for the services of the service, but the application is paid for men. Subscription payment is made using Telegram Stars virtual currency. The price for 1 month is 2.5 thousand stars (5700 rubles), 3 months is 6 thousand stars, 12 months is 20 thousand stars.
There is a bonus system inside the application, and an algorithm for collecting Toncoin crypto coins is working.
In addition to exclusive communication, each user of the TON Dating application monetizes their standard actions, receiving Toncoin cryptocurrency bonuses for "inviting friends", "likes", "matches", which can be withdrawn to a personal crypto wallet.
The Ton Dating service was created on the Telegram Open Network (TON) blockchain by Vladimir Makhov, former head of VK Dating.
Investments for the building of the service amounted to 100 thousand dollars. The developers plan to attract about 1 million active users to the service by 2027. The core geography will be the CIS countries, the MeNa region (Middle East and North Africa), Europe and Asia.
