It's about Granta with automatic transmission

AvtoVAZ has launched a program to support the military with vehicles who have become disabled. Previously, they had to work at AvtoVAZ enterprises.

It is planned to issue Lada Granta with automatic transmission and additional manual controls, or cars in standard configuration for temporary free use.

The first car has already been handed over. So far, AvtoVAZ has received 10 requests for cars. Note that technical maintenance and insurance will be carried out at the expense of the plant.

Recall that Granta with automatic transmission (98-horsepower engine 1.6 liters and Jatco automatic transmission) are cars from old stocks. In total, it was planned to release about five thousand cars. Some of them will go on free sale, and some will be part of a government order. In May, the first cars with automatic transmission arrived at dealers in Togliatti.

Earlier www1.ru wrote that at SPIEF Vesta with manual control was shown. Assembly of such cars is scheduled for the end of this year.
