Cars will be produced from the end of 2024

AvtoVAZ showed LADA Vesta with manual control at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum (SPIEF). Such cars are not yet produced. Their assembly in sedan and station wagon bodies is scheduled for the end of the year.

Manual control is implemented as follows: the lever to the left of the steering column is connected to the pedals. Pressing down activates the gas pedal, up, away from you - the brake.

This control scheme is the most ergonomic, and also retains the ability to control the car in the usual way, using the pedals.

A similar scheme is implemented on the LADA Granta with manual control, which is produced serially.
