The company "Yandex" will develop a new brand for its courier robots and self-driving cars. An application for registration of a trademark has been submitted to Rospatent for consideration.
All Yandex projects related to self-driving cars and delivery robots are planned to be developed within one area under the brand "Autonomous Transport".
Additionally, it was noted that as part of the development of the new direction, the brand's attention will be focused on the creation of software and components, as well as self-driving cars and robots for delivery. Most of the products are the company's own development "Yandex" and are produced in Moscow.
Earlier www1.ru reported that "Yandex"will double the number of courier robots by 2024.
