Athermal glass is a glass that contains special impurities. It delays infrared radiation, which means that the car's interior does not heat up as much in the heat as a car with ordinary glasses. In winter, athermal glass should not be covered with an icy crust.
It differs from ordinary glass in color, which gives a bluish or greenish tint. If you look at such glass through polarized glasses, you will see an iridescent shimmer.
